This blog is getting whiny. Haha. i haven't been sleeping well. It's strange how things can change so quickly. Magic, really. What comes next? YOU decide.
I read about this on craftster a couple of years ago, at the end of every year, I think, "Wow, I'm sure I did over 100 projects this year, I should keep track..." So I will now post all the projects I've finished in the first 23 days of the year. Look back for updated posts!!!
The deer heads... My slouchy hat, I haven't stopped wearing it since I took it off the needles... Love! I fixed up this little table that had been badly damaged by the weather... Oh, the angst!!!
Today's song is brought to you by The Brian Jonestown Massacre. (Paid for by the committee to keep music evil).
So, it's been a while since my last post... I've been knitting a lot, and now that Christmas is over, I don't have to worry about gifts as much, except for your blanket, Rachel!!! Which is more than half done, geez, it's taking a while. After doing a custom hat recently, I have once again fallen in love with knitting hats.
As you can tell, I have perhaps been watching too much Gurren Lagann lately(Which is a totally amazing anime, and I recommend you watch)... The blue hat is called "The Spiral Cap," and is from a Vogue Knitting book...
They are so quick to do, and they're not easy to mess up, which is nice... Lets see, I will be attending TNNA (The National Needle Arts Association) for work in San Diego this weekend. I have to catch my plane super early on Friday morning. But then I will be in S.D. for 4 days all by my lonesome... Fun stuff. I will remember to take my camera with me for sure!
Sac-anime has came and gone. It was incredibly unsuccessful on my part, but I still had a good time. I came home with a lot of unsold goods, but that just gives me more chances, right? And it was a great learning experience, the next time that I have a booth, I will be much more prepared! So, onto the pictures!!! Here's what I brought with me... And the sexy ladies that I attended with... The only cosplay worth taking a photo of was this super cute girl dressed as Haruko form Fooly Cooly... To cheer me up, the boys and I did a fun, and very drunk photoshoot. Today's song is brought to you by the fabulous Moldy Peaches!

It is becoming increasingly obvious to me that there is a magical relationship between knitters, and their pet counterparts. I have recently been noticing more and more the amount of knitters (including myself), that have chosen rabbits as their sweet pets, rather than dogs or cats. Rabbits are incredibly special little creatures, and when I look at my little princess Mildred, I can't help but smile. She has such a personality, (I know that everyone says this about their pets, but it's effing true!) I find this trend with knitters to be quite amazing and special, so if you are a knitter and have a special bunny in your life, why don't you tell me about them? Non-knitters are also free to share their bunny pics/stories, too, of course!
Today's song is, of course, brought to you by Jefferson Airplane
So i recently broke my new camera, but a new one is in the works. Here is a painting that Caleb did for my soon to be online store, Insomnicraft. He is fabulous. Today's song is brought to you by Comet Gain!
It was snowing all day yesterday, which made for perfect knitting weather. I finished up the open check stitch scarf, and Gnome Chomsky played in the snow all day.
And up close... Today's song is brought to you by the one and only David Bowie!
