Lazy Confessions

Sac-anime has came and gone. It was incredibly unsuccessful on my part, but I still had a good time. I came home with a lot of unsold goods, but that just gives me more chances, right? And it was a great learning experience, the next time that I have a booth, I will be much more prepared! So, onto the pictures!!!
Here's what I brought with me...

The only cosplay worth taking a photo of was this super cute girl dressed as Haruko form Fooly Cooly...

To cheer me up, the boys and I did a fun, and very drunk photoshoot.

It is becoming increasingly obvious to me that there is a magical relationship between knitters, and their pet counterparts. I have recently been noticing more and more the amount of knitters (including myself), that have chosen rabbits as their sweet pets, rather than dogs or cats. Rabbits are incredibly special little creatures, and when I look at my little princess Mildred, I can't help but smile. She has such a personality, (I know that everyone says this about their pets, but it's effing true!) I find this trend with knitters to be quite amazing and special, so if you are a knitter and have a special bunny in your life, why don't you tell me about them? Non-knitters are also free to share their bunny pics/stories, too, of course!

At the Drive-In

A little off course from the usual titles of my blogs, but this will do. Chelsea just told me that it is on for Sac-Anime, which of course is in about 14 days. So, I have lots of crafting to do if our booth is going to look full and lush. Being one of the few people in America without a television, I watch a lot of movies. I never really enjoyed television that much, and didn't have it as a child, either. So ever since I was a little girl, I have been somewhat of a movie buff. I now knit and craft while watching my movies. Here is a list of some of my favorite movies for crafting to...
1. Ichi the Killer
2. Ghost World
3. Harold and Maude
4. It Happened one Night
5. Battle Royale
6. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
7. Oldboy
8. Empire Records
9. Zatoichi
10. The Royal Tennenbaums .................................."Well I want to die."
11. Shaun of the Dead
12. Heathers ........."Did you eat a brain tumor for breakfast?"
13. Fight Club
14. Lost in Translation
15. Clueless ....................."Hey, James Bond, in America we drive on the right side of the road."
16. Rushmore
17. I Heart Huckabees
18. Lock, Stock, and 2 Smoking Barrels
19. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
20. American Psycho ......."There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there. "
21. Natural Born Killers
22. End of Eva
23. Death Note
24. Breakfast at Tiffany's
25. DiG! ..........."Motherfucker broke my fucking sitar!"

Sugar Kane

So I am about to retire my 2007-2008 sketchbook. Here are the good, the bad, and the ugly. Well, there's actually not that many, so you will see...

So there it is. It seems that every year my sketch books get worse and worse. It is incredibly depressing, considering how much time I spend drawing. Maybe I will get some inspiration back in my life, right now, this doesn't seem to be working out. Maybe I should stick to not doing art. Heh, whateves.

Ever Fallen in Love

Is one capable of slipping away so easily? The aftermath is unbearable. Enough I think to stop the pain. They pass like time in this constant whirlwind, and no one even notices. It's not about your acne scars or the boy that doesn't notice you. Open your fucking eyes. You think your parents hate you, and your boss is yelling at you, at it's just too much for you to handle. Open your fucking eyes. Your ego is showing.

Why I Try to Look so Bad

So i recently broke my new camera, but a new one is in the works. Here is a painting that Caleb did for my soon to be online store, Insomnicraft. He is fabulous.

He didn't love her.

She looked up at him and said, "I love you. Don't ask me why, because I don't know. Every day I look forward to out next encounter, and I can't stand the thought of the day you fall out of my life."
He looked at her and said, "Honey, that is highly inappropriate." She went home and lost him.

Space Oddity

It was snowing all day yesterday, which made for perfect knitting weather. I finished up the open check stitch scarf, and Gnome Chomsky played in the snow all day.
